DATE : 14th July 2013

STIPULATION : Money in the Bank Ladder Match

BACKGROUND : The usual Money in the Bank ladder match would take place at the Money in the Bank PPV where the winner would receive the chance to challenge for the WWE World Title whenever they wanted. This year the only difference was Stephanie McMahon announced that this year would be an All Star Ladder Match featuring previous World Champions. The participants were CM Punk, Christian, Daniel Bryan, Sheamus, Randy Orton and Rob van Dam. So just who would get a chance at John Cena's World Championship?

MATCH REVIEW : All six men were brilliant in this match all trying to outdo the other. The crowd were heavily behind the returning Rob van Dam who had been off the WWE radar for some time and he managed to get in all his highlight spots in the first half of the match. The win for Orton would elevate him back to the main event scene which is much needed. Paul Heyman's turn on Punk was although inevitable played out very well and sets up a Punk v Lesnar dream match at Summerslam. The match not only brought quality but served as a taster for things to come at Summerslam, top class performance from all six men.
