MATCH : Batista v Daniel Bryan v Randy Orton

EVENT : Wrestlemania 30

VENUE : The Superdome, New Orleans, Louisiana

DATE : 6th April 2014

BACKGROUND : After months of torment from The Authority, Daniel Bryan had eventually got his chance to win the WWE World Heavyweight Title in the main event of Wrestlemania. Bryan had to get there the hard way and even had to wrestle Triple H earlier in the card for the slot in the main event! The two men he would have to defeat for the title were Evolution stable mates to make the odds of Bryan winning even less. Batista qualified for this match by winning the 2014 Royal Rumble after a long absence from the wrestling industry. Meanwhile, Randy Orton had been WWE champion since he and Triple H screwed Daniel Bryan out of the title at Summerslam. This had been quite a big angle with Bryan always being kept down. So could the fan favourite eventually win the big one at the biggest event of the year?

MATCH REVIEW : This was a great way to finish the Wrestlemania PPV with all the fans joining in the 'Yes Yes Yes' chants with the most over face in the wrestling industry at this time! To be honest there are only a few Wrestlemania endings with more emotion than this one. The actual match had a lot of pressure to live up to after the opening bout between D-Bry and Triple H and the massive Undertaker loss to Brock Lesnar earlier in the show. It did live up to the expectations though with all three men pulling out all the stops to really make a classic Wrestlemania moment.
