MATCH : Ahmed Johnson/British Bulldog/Shawn Michaels/Sid v Dean Douglas/Owen Hart/Razor Ramon/Yokozuna

PROMOTION : WWF

EVENT : Survivor Series 1995

VENUE : Landover, Maryland

DATE : 19th November 1995

STIPULATION : 8 Man Elimination Tag Match

BACKGROUND : Survivor Series over the years had always been famous for its traditional 8 man or 10 man elimination tag team matches where a group of 4/5 heels would team up to face 4/5 faces that they would most likely be feuding with either before or after the event. In 1995 though, President Gorilla Monsoon decided it would be a good idea to have a wildcard Survivor Series match where foes would have to be partners and friends would have to be opponents for the night. The match pitted Shawn Michaels, British Bulldog, Ahmed Johnson and Sid against Razor Ramon, Yokozuna, Owen Hart and Dean Douglas. So would this chaos create a good match?

MATCH REVIEW : This was a good fun match with eight talented performers. I enjoyed the face/heel mash ups and they provided some good entertaining moments. This was Ahmed Johnson's first PPV match and they had big plans for him so he and Shawn Michaels were given the win. This match also helped several feuds continue which was good and I also have to mention Mr Perfect who was excellent on commentary. A fun match that provides plenty of action (barring a Yokozuna nerve hold halfway through) and is recommended as a good Survivor Series match.
