MATCH : The BodyDonnas v The Underdogs

PROMOTION : WWF

EVENT : Survivor Series 1995

VENUE : Landover, Maryland

DATE : 19th November 1995

STIPULATION : 8 Man Elimination Tag Match

BACKGROUND : The Bodydonnas team consisted of Skip (Chris Candido) and his new tag team partner Dr Tom Pritchard formerly of the Heavenly Bodies tag team, also Rad Radford (Louie Spicolli) who was in training to become a Bodydonna and newly turned heel 123 Kid. The Underdogs team consisted of a group of perennial jobbers led by Barry Horowitz and joined by Marty Jannetty, Bob Holly and Hakushi. The team captains had been feuding since Horowitz was able to defeat Skip on a number of occasions which embarrassed the Bodydonna. The lineup of the men involved doesn't get you excited but could the match exceed expectations?

MATCH REVIEW : This match really did exceed expectations! A very good eight man tag match where all men were lower card wrestlers. The ending served its purpose on trying to push the 123 Kid as heel and part of Ted Dibiase's stable which worked considering he was the only realistic hope of a push from the men involved in the match. It was good to see lower talent being given time to produce a good match but I don't think anyone except 123 Kid managed to make many more Pay Per Views after this.
